Last night was Senior Salute 2009! Surprisingly, it was actually really fun! We left from South Lake Union and headed out towards Bellevue, saw Bill Gate's house, had dinner, listened to some live jazz, enjoyed the epic gorgeousness of our beautiful Seattle and just hung out on the historic Virginia V.
It was a lot of fun getting all dolled up, which you all know I LOVE to do! Kristin was my date, and we met Mr. & future Mrs. Lima on the boat (ok, no they're not engaged, but I'm thinking it's safe enough to say hold your breath...). The weather was just perfect and well, there's not too much more to say than that. Check out pics on facebook and you can see what a lovely adventure it was!
After the three roomies & Joey headed to BluWater Bistro on So. Lake Union(see map) for some appetizers and a drink, and then headed down to Amber in Belltown to cap off the night. It was a lot of fun (I know I've said that enough already), and I enjoyed being able to visit with Caitlin for a little bit, seeing as I literally NEVER see her anymore. It's weird having total opposite schedules with someone you live with. We are never at home at the same time, or if we are, I'm usually sleeping, or waking up at the crack of dawn to go to work. It's a vicious cycle, but one that I love! haha
Anywho, praise God for the most epic weather ever this past week and a half! It's not over yet, folks! It's still commin'! I just hope it can hold out for graduation in... dun, dun, dun... 15 DAYS! WOOOOOO!
It just sounds wonderful and congratulations on your coming graduation.
